Here I'm selling my Nissan 300zx 2+2 NON Turbo Automatic it does have a rebuilt /restored title but the guy I got it from told me it was a theft recover not wrecked but I have no proof to back that up but I do believe him.Ok so this car is by no means perfect but I have put a ton of love and a ton of new parts in this car listed below into it I fixed it all up barley drove it but the car still needs lots of love I can't give it at this time. so I had the car up and running great then one day it starting making this knocking ticking noise I'm pretty sure almost 100% it's a ( ROD KNOCK) I just do not have the time or want to keep messing with it to figure it all out. the horn does not work it was but the past owner wired it weird, the tires need to be replaced front driver side tire is flat wheels may have dings on them there not perfect but are fine, tint on windows needs replaced a/c needs to be charged but I can't promise it works. the car does start and drive but I wouldn't recommend it just gets worse at high speed that problem needs to be fixed, also the battery may need to be replaced. I put one in from a different vehicle the front dash inside is lifted up by the windshield do to heat you can see in pics, the car does need a paint job and body work, there is a rust spot by the tire on the rear passenger side fender the car leaks oil, a couple vinyl pieces have been removed inside trunk and such but are but whatever I got is included. Driver side door lock does not work not sure why can't use key in it so can't lock the doors unless you fix it the passenger window does not go down, I put a knock sensor bypass cause the wire is messed up. many things need to be fixed the amp was in the car with the wiring when I got it I can't promise the amp works it's just included the car has other things that need fixing glove box does not shut right door panels are not that great, T-tops will need fixed or replaced I don't believe they leak but the inside of them is taped and things missing, Driver side door shuts kinda hard, Car needs a tune up and maybe a catalytic converter not to sure on that just mentioning because car smells very rich, and has loss of power.seating is not perfect but is ok, power antenna is broke but you can here the motor running, you may notice foam padding in the back panels I put that in there to help with some noise just in case your wondering it can be removed very simply the past owner broke the panels I'm guessing to install the back hatch he got from a salvage yard he was not the brightest bulb I'm assuming.the amp may need to be removed for better sound quality, anyways car needs lots of TLC Ect.., So if you got time and love 300zx's and like to fix things this car will be great for that. So you can either keep fixing it up or use it as a parts car and just part it out for your other nissan 300zx or just sell the parts either way that's up to you. If it was me this might be better as a parts car because of how many issues this car has I would highly suggest that option but if you know anything about these cars these cars always get likes and attention and are head turners. Very rare 1996 Nissan 300ZX TT SMZ number 100 out of 104 produced by Steve Millen (Stillen) and sold through Nissan dealers with Nissan factory warranties. The SMZ had a handful of upgrades over the regular 300zx Twin Turbo and brought horsepower to a claimed 365 vs factory 300. SMZ's had upgraded brakes from the Skyline GTR and larger 17 wheels and tires as well as a Stillen body kit including front spoiler, nose panel, rear side skirts, rear wing, and rear bumper. There is also special number plaques under the hood and on the center console. The SMZ interiors had real carbon fiber trim on the doors and dash, aluminum sport pedals(pedals are removed because they were too close for my feet, but they can be easily put back on.), SMZ decals and Steve Millen design stitched on the arm rest cover and a carbon fiber shift knob. The SMZ sold for about $16,000 over what a normal Twin turbo sold for in 1996. This SMZ is the only known car that ever came in Midnight Purple. There were only 4 SMZ's made for 1996 starting with number 100(this car). Midnight Purple is one of the rarest and most desirable colors the 300zx ever came in. Only about 200 300zx's were ever imported into the US in Midnight Purple and of that only about a quarter of them were Twin Turbo models. Twin Turbos in Midnight Purple fetch a premium and rarely ever show up for sale. The last SMZ I saw for sale sold for more than double what I am asking. There is typical small paint chips on the front end, a small crack in the passenger side skirt and there is slight oxidation on the rear bumper, and there is a small tear on the left bolster of the driver seat, but other than that the car shows very well for it's age and mileage. I have about $27k in receipts from the Nissan Dealer of work that had been done by the previous owner. I have also in the last year of so (less than 500 miles) have had the water pump, timing belt, tensioner and rear main seal replaced. I have also replaced the glove box latch and third brake light panel, and rear hatch lift struts. The car also has had new tires put on(less than 500 miles on them). Everything on the car works as it should, save maybe for the in-dash multi disc player.. The power windows, door locks, cruise control work perfectly and the air conditioner is ice cold. The original owner obviously enjoyed this car and took great care of it. Even though it has high mileage, it shows and runs like a car that has much less. I've loved the SMZ since I first saw one in a dealership way back in 1996, I've thoroughly enjoyed this car over the past few years and have tried to take good care of it. If I had unlimited space and unlimited funds i'd probably keep this car forever, but I have other cars and it's time for someone else to enjoy her.
